Privacy & Cookie Policy
Last updated: 27 May 2026
This policy explains what information is collected when you visit this website or sign up for our newsletter, how it is used, and the choices you have. Infima Games respects your privacy and only collects data with your consent.
Who we are
Infima Games is a one-person animation studio based in Stockholm, Sweden, run by David Stenfors. For any privacy questions, contact [email protected].
What we collect
We do not ask you for personal information to browse this site. If you choose to accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how visitors use the site (for example pages viewed, time on page, approximate region, device type, and which links are clicked). IP addresses are anonymized by Google Analytics. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
If you sign up for our newsletter, we additionally collect your email address and a record of your consent (see the “Newsletter” section below).
Newsletter
If you choose to subscribe to our newsletter, we collect:
- your email address;
- a record of your explicit consent (timestamp and, where applicable, the page you signed up from), kept as proof that consent was given;
- metadata generated by the email service (for example whether confirmation, unsubscribe, or email delivery succeeded).
We use this to send occasional emails about new packs, sales, and behind-the-scenes progress on what we’re working on. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). You give consent by ticking the agreement box on the signup form and confirming your email via the double opt-in link (see below).
Double opt-in: after submitting the form, you will receive a confirmation email. You are only added to the list once you click the confirmation link inside. If you never click it, no further emails are sent and your address is not retained on our active list.
Email provider: the newsletter is operated through Kit (formerly ConvertKit). Your email address is stored on Kit’s servers, which may be located outside the EU/EEA. International transfers are governed by appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Unsubscribing: you can withdraw consent and unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or by emailing [email protected]. Unsubscribing removes you from our active mailing list; we may retain a minimal record (your email plus the fact that you unsubscribed) only to prevent accidentally re-adding you later.
We do not share, sell, or rent your email address. We do not use it for advertising or profiling.
Cookies & consent
Analytics cookies are denied by default. Nothing is loaded or stored until you select “Accept” in the cookie banner (we use Google Consent Mode). You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the site footer.
- Necessary storage: we store your cookie choice in your browser (localStorage) so you are not asked on every visit. This is not used for tracking.
- Analytics cookies (optional): set by Google Analytics only after you accept, to measure site usage.
Legal basis
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), our legal basis for analytics is your consent (Article 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw it at any time.
Your rights
If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the right to:
- access, correct, or delete your data;
- restrict or object to processing;
- data portability;
- withdraw consent at any time;
- lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. In Sweden this is the IMY.
Data retention
- Analytics: Google Analytics retains aggregated usage data according to the retention period configured in our Analytics account (up to 14 months).
- Newsletter: your email address is retained for as long as you remain subscribed. When you unsubscribe, your address is removed from the active list; a minimal record may be retained to prevent re-adding you accidentally.
- Cookie-consent choice: remains in your browser until you clear it or change it.
Third parties
We use the following service providers to operate this website:
- Google Analytics (Google) — anonymous, consent-gated site analytics.
- Kit (formerly ConvertKit) — newsletter email delivery, used only if you subscribe.
- Cloudflare — hosting, DNS, and content delivery for this website.
Outbound links to Fab, YouTube, and X take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of third-party sites.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest version.
